Angela McCormack is an Australian visual arts educator, curriculum specialist, writer and creative consultant with more than 25 years of experience in visual arts education.

Her background spans classroom teaching, curriculum development, teacher education, academic lecturing, educational publishing, arts advocacy and creative consultancy. Angela has taught across primary, secondary and tertiary sectors and has advised organisations including QCAA, AITSL, QAGOMA and Cambridge University Press on visual art and teaching and learning.

Through Understanding Art, she brings together expertise in visual literacy, contemporary culture, art, education, storytelling and creative practice to help audiences engage more deeply with art, identity and the visual world around them.
